Growing Water Beads

It’s magic! Watch these beads grow in water, from tiny hard beads to jelly-like transparent beads.

It’s a great tool for teaching patience (while waiting for the beads to grow).

Also a popular sensory tool for kids –they’re slippery, squishy, and vibrant! And oh so fun!

How to make them grow:

Empty the tiny water beads into a dish, then add water.  The little beads are made from water-absorbing polymer and grow as they absorb water.  These ones will grow to about 1 cm in about 6-8 hours. Warning: Not to be injested. Make sure younger kids are supervised when playing with these.
